The US population is aging rapidly and today's "Seniors" are not what they used to be! According to the 2020 Census, NH is the second oldest state, behind only Maine. By 2040, approximately 1 in 5 Americans will be 65 and older, a substantial increase from the current 1 in 8. Not only does this demographic need social and recreational opportunities like everyone else, but this demographic can be your biggest advocate and supporters! Participants will learn about proven successful programming, including: intergenerational programming, collaborations, keeping seniors engaged, grants, educational resources and more! Discover communication tips and how to gain support from your boards.
