Counting the days until retirement? Jumping off the hamster wheel of working in parks and recreation can be a bumpy ride if you haven’t got your ducks lined up. Hear some tips from a retiree that you won’t hear from your financial advisor or pension representative. This session is for those on the fence; those just starting to think about it; the ones wondering if they’ll be bored, or those fearful of losing that title or association with the job. This session isn’t designed to encourage or discourage you from retiring. It’s just providing some insight and things to think about that I wish I had considered when stepping out.
