
Rachel Arbige is a seasoned municipal professional with more than 35 years of experience in government administration, recreation management, and community leadership. She currently serves as the Adult Recreation and Senior Services Manager for the Town of East Greenwich, where she oversees staff, public communications, community programming, and daily senior services.
Throughout her career, Rachel has demonstrated a strong commitment to public service and building vibrant, connected communities. She has held leadership roles at both the local and state levels, including serving as a Town Council Member in South Kingstown, founding a local nonprofit foundation, and serving as Vice President of the Rhode Island Recreation & Parks Association.
Known for her organizational expertise, clear communication, and dedication to serving others, Rachel brings a wealth of practical experience and community-focused leadership to her work. She is a Certified Parks and Recreation Professional and was honored with the 2023 John “Jack” Cronin Award, recognizing her outstanding commitment to public service and community impact.
