The growing contingent of women in the profession of parks and recreation needs a space to discuss program ideas in their own style and conversational manner. It is also an important space to discuss the challenges of being a woman in a male dominated field (and possibly organization or municipality) and how to advocate for yourself/ideas, build confidence, balance work & home life, avoid burnout, and create a network of other women to lean on for support. We hope people will leave with new peers and a mentor.
