Matt Frye


Matthew Frye Matthew S. Frye, M.S., CTRS/L is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Recreation Management and Policy at the University of New Hampshire, where his work centers on building genuinely inclusive recreation spaces and programs and supporting healthy people, places, and communities through recreation. Prior to joining the UNH faculty in 2016, Matt was the founding program director of the TREK (Therapeutic Recreation Empowering Kids) program at Northeast Passage, where he led school-based interventions for children with disabilities that shaped his practical, field-tested approach to access, inclusion, and youth development.
Along with his teaching responsibilities, Matt is a frequent collaborator on a wide range of research and public engagement projects including the NH SCORP and several community needs assessments, accessibility reviews, and strategic plans.
